Countdown to Christmas!

I can't believe that Christmas is only a week away.  I haven't wrapped a single gift!  I said to hubby today, "We are staying home and getting things done." One reason I have procrastinated on putting gifts under the tree is a new addition to our family named Vader. My son's kitten!  He is a cute little all black kitten, and frisky as heck. I just know he is going to tear all the paper off the presents. lol
A few more Christmas decor pics below:
The trunk in the front entry decked out with a prim tree and some old world Santas

All is calm, All is bright... Stained glass window on the stairway.

A lotta snowmen - A hooked rug on the living room wall. I will keep this up through February along with my other snow friends.

May your days be merry and bright this holiday season. Merry Christmas!

  1. Oh come on now... one tiny kitten can't kill your Christmas fun. LOL! What am I talking about... I had a tree in a box!!!

  2. HoHoHo...I think Christmas has sorta snuck up on everyone this year..I finally found the Christmas Spirit.. got the tree up & the gifts wrapped..My kittys could care less about wrapping paper but I know plenty of Kittys who love helping to unwrap gifts!!
Look at the fun side of it you can take all kinds of pictures to share with your Blog friends of Kitty helping...Make us all giggle!!

I love your Trunk by the staircase..Beautiful all decorated..

    Christmas Blessings

  3. Hee hee...Well I failed to mention the other 6 cats and one dog we have! lol They sure keep you busy, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I have to brush fur away before I take pictures most of the time. I hope you both have a wonderful holiday!

  4. Wow, that hooked snowman winter scene is GORGEOUS! I would keep it up all year if
it was mine. Your home looks beautiful.
That kitten is going to be a terror.
Have fun and enjoy it though, there's nothing
like a kitty when they're small and playful.
    Merry Christmas,

  5. Kittys all over blog land are creating havoc with the trees:) I love your old world Santas. -Steph-

  6. Love your prim decorations! I always loved it when the kitty climbed up the tree! She stayed up there for a long time and peeked out. Sometimes when you walked too close to the tree, a tiny little paw would reach out for a little touch. LoL.
    Merry Christmas!

  7. Hi the way my mother in-law's name was very pretty!

My snowmen stay out through Feb too, sometimes even through March but usually by the end of Feb I'm ready for them to be packed up.
